The World Health Organization Targets 36 Million Africans To Be Vaccinated Again

The World Health Organization has revealed that the Africa continent is currently behind concerning vaccination, saying the target is to have about 70 percent of the entire population of Africa vaccinated. The organization revealed that to meet with that target, the organization will have to facilitate the vaccination of additional 35 million Africans to meet with the target. Many Africans are still not vaccinated until now because of some conspiracy theories surrounding the coronavirus pandemic and the vaccine. Many Africans are afraid of the vaccine.

The World Health Organization lamented that it will have sped up the vaccination process because it is dangerous not having at least 70 percent of the population vaccinated. Despite all the appeals from many governments in Africa, vaccine turnouts remains relatively low. Those who took the first jab refuse to come back to complete their dosage and the booster shot. This got many countries worried. The World Health Organization said that the agreed target for Africa is 70 percent vaccination for the people of the continent, saying that they will actualize that mission.
